Katrin Haunreiter

Katrin Haunreiter obtained a higher certificate of photography in Zurich, Switzerland. 

She later furthered her studies in digital filming in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Katrin Haunreiter is working as an independent photographer and videographer in advertisement and documentary in Switzerland and South Africa. 

As a Freelancer, Katrin Haunreiter works on film and photo productions in Switzerland and South Africa. She is a qualified studio photographer with a detailed understanding of lightning setup and the interaction with models and clients. 

She worked as a picture editor and photographer for all the important daily newsletters in Switzerland and learned to do web building and design. 

She is booked as a production assistant and production manager for film and photo shoots, is doing street castings, location scouts and camera assistance. 

Katrin Haunreiter co-founded the NGO Youth Edutainment in South Africa. Youth Edutainment equips schools and NGO's in South Africa with computers and IT knowledge. In the township Gugulethu, YE screens documentary movies and facilitates nature hikes with a youth group. 

Katrin Haunreiter worked on photo documentaries in 10 different countries in Africa, travelled independently over 4000 km through the Sahara and Western Africa and lived in the township Gugulethu in the Cape Flats of South Africa for several years.
